We are glad that you have stopped by to visit us. We have galleries, testimonies and blogs forthcoming. The image to the left is an example of our dear children whom are taught and nurtured with God's provisions, both physically and spiritually.
Dear Friends and Famly in Christ, Calvary Greetings. This is a great opportunity the Lord has given me to share with you the wonderful things He is doing at Victorious Children's Home. I rejoice in Him as I count the many blessing of His faithfulness. The children that were once homeless and without hope are now having big smiles on their faces with their pain erased. The loss of their parents to HIV/AIDS seems to be covered with love and care. This program has been successful just because of your generous contributions in prayer. encouragement and finances. Your gifts have enabled us to provide foodk clothing, shelter and medicine for these children. Some of them are infected with HIV/AIDS.
This journey of faith began in 2004 and when I look at the acheivements, it is just overwhelming joy. Some of the acheivements are: *Providing 51 children with care and basic needs *Assisting 17 kids in high school *Plumbing fixtures completed *Water holding tank installed and an electric pump to provide water in the showers and bathrooms. *electric fence and perimeter wall completed for safety. However, we have the daily needs and basic needs that include: *Food - $24,000 per year *Other needs - $30,000 per year. Our biggest need at this time is transportation. We need a van or a minibus to help our kids participate in the activities other kids enjoy; such as games, choir competition, special occasions, etc. That cost would be approximately $15,000. You can make a difference in the life of a child in Africa. You can sponsor and feed a child three meals a day...that is breakfast, luch and supper for $1.00 per day. That can be a onetime, monthly or annual gift to the home.
Psalm 68:5 - 6a
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows is God in His holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families.
- We now have a big, beautiful blue tin-roofed house which the children call home, where there is a full sense of peace, security and belonging. And...we also have a well that provides clean drinking water for the children.
